• How does your CRS Solutions℠ search process differ from retained search?

    Our CRS Solutions℠ search process has many of the same focused qualities of a more traditional retained search. We develop a search strategy from the position description and our Client meetings, direct source highly qualified candidates, and present top talent for consideration by our Clients. Where it differs is in the way it is invoiced. We begin the search with a minimal “engagement” fee and the balance of the invoicing is only done when we meet performance milestones such as finalist candidate presentations and an accepted employment offer by the successful candidate.

  • What is the typical timeline for a CRS Solutions℠ search process?

    We normally spend 1-2 weeks on the front end of a search assignment doing research and learning more about the position, our Client, and the unwritten requirements of the position. During weeks 3-4 we continue direct sourcing and identify highly qualified candidates. We normally present a slate of candidates around week 4 or sooner. We will then work with our Clients to help coordinate their interviewing, review, and eventual processing of an employment offer to the successful candidate.

  • How are your fees calculated?

    We will custom design our search process and fee structure to meet the needs of our Client’s recruitment project. Normally fees are based on a percentage of the first year’s cash compensation which includes base salary, estimated annual bonus, and any other cash compensation equating to 10% or more of base salary.

    Epic Business Strategies focuses on retained style search assignments. Our CRS Solutions℠ search process does resemble the invoicing technique of a contingent recruiting project. However, we pride ourselves on conducting a thorough direct sourcing retained style search.
